Terms of Service

Terms for using Credensa, including AI-assisted outputs, ATS analysis limits, user responsibility, acceptable use, accounts, and service availability.

No hiring guarantee

Credensa can help draft, analyze, organize, and format career materials, but it does not guarantee jobs, interviews, ATS parsing, recruiter decisions, or hiring outcomes.

User-reviewed content

You are responsible for reviewing every resume, cover letter, application answer, portfolio, and AI output before using or publishing it.

Policy enforcement

Credensa may restrict accounts, remove content, suspend workflows, or terminate access to protect users, third parties, the platform, or legal compliance.

Agreement

By accessing Credensa, creating an account, uploading content, generating AI outputs, publishing a portfolio, or using any hosted service, you agree to these Terms and linked policies.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to use the service, provide accurate account information, and keep credentials secure. Credensa is not intended for users under 18 unless a verifiable parental consent process is implemented.

  • You must not create accounts using false identity details, unauthorized email addresses, or another person's credentials
  • You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by Credensa's breach of its own security obligations
  • Credensa may require email verification, additional checks, or account restrictions if abuse, fraud, security risk, or under-age use is suspected

Your content

You retain ownership of resume data, career records, uploads, job descriptions, prompts, generated drafts, portfolios, and published materials you create or submit.

  • You grant Credensa a limited license to host, process, transform, display, export, and transmit content only as needed to provide the service
  • You must have the right to upload or publish any content, including photos, logos, links, employer details, and project material
  • You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and truthfulness of career claims, credentials, links, metrics, and achievements
  • Public portfolio links and public resume links are your decision; do not publish sensitive or confidential information

AI and ATS output limits

AI outputs and ATS scores are assistive tools. They are not professional, legal, hiring, immigration, academic, background-check, or employment advice.

  • No job, interview, salary, recruiter response, or ATS pass-through outcome is promised
  • AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or overconfident; you must review and edit outputs before use
  • ATS scores are estimates based on document structure, keywords, and known parsing signals, not a guarantee of how any employer system behaves
  • Credensa may flag weak or unsupported claims, but final responsibility for submitted claims remains with you

Prohibited conduct

You must not use Credensa to break laws, violate rights, mislead employers, attack systems, or abuse platform resources.

  • No fake credentials, fabricated employment, impersonation, forged documents, misleading certifications, or unlawful misrepresentation
  • No scraping, credential stuffing, spam, malware, reverse engineering, probing, bypassing rate limits, or unauthorized access
  • No harassment, hate, exploitation, adult content involving minors, discriminatory content, or unlawful portfolio publishing
  • No uploading trade secrets, confidential employer data, private third-party data, or content you are not allowed to share

Third-party services and processors

Credensa uses vendors and processors for hosting, database, authentication, storage, AI generation, email, monitoring, payments, and analytics where configured.

  • Third-party providers may process data in countries outside India depending on the service and configuration
  • Provider terms, privacy policies, availability, and security controls may apply separately
  • Credensa remains responsible for selecting processors and maintaining vendor records where legally required
  • Optional integrations may be unavailable, degraded, changed, or removed if provider access, rate limits, compliance, or security requires it

Termination

Credensa may suspend, limit, remove, or terminate access when needed to protect the service, users, vendors, third parties, legal compliance, or platform integrity.

  • Examples include abuse, suspected fraud, security risk, unlawful content, repeated policy violations, payment issues, or legal requests
  • Some data may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, dispute, backup, audit, or legal compliance reasons
  • You may delete your account and request erasure through Privacy & Data settings, subject to legally required retention

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

  • No warranty is made that Credensa will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, compatible with every ATS, or suitable for every employer process
  • Credensa is not liable for hiring decisions, rejected applications, user-submitted inaccuracies, third-party provider outages, or misuse of generated content
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid to Credensa for the relevant service period or the minimum amount allowed by law
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law

Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory consumer or data protection law requires otherwise, disputes should first be raised through Credensa support or grievance channels.
